How About A Shoe Powered Battery – At 10,000 Steps Your Phone Stays Charged 24-Hours?

How many steps do you walk per day? Do you hit the 10,000 step milestone? That’s about 5 miles and 500 calories for the average healthy person with a medium height and weight. What if you were forced to do this? At first, you might angry, but you’d soon find yourself in excellent health, then add and subtract a few items to your diet and you will be fit and trim. But what could force you to do this?

Why not build a shoe that works like a shake-able flashlight where a magnet goes back and forth along a copper wire coil creating electricity? This electricity during each step although very little can charge up a battery – which could then be transferred to your smart phone and thus, if you don’t do your required steps, you cannot use your smart phone as it would run out of juice.

If you want to use your phone it only has a charging cord that works with the fitness shoes, and it is not able to plug into an outlet. Think this isn’t possible? Well, all the technology currently exists now. If you are stuck inside for the winter – no problem break out the treadmill system, then your shoes can charge your phone and your treadmill can charge your TV or computer.

Now then, there was an interesting article in Design News published on December 27, 2016 titled: ” Flexible Device Turns Motion Into Energy – A film-like device generates energy from human motion and can be used to operate a number of objects, including an LCD touch screen, LED lights, and a flexible keyboard,” by Elizabeth Montalbano which stated:

“Engineers and scientists have come up with a “film-like device that can power the next generation of flexible electronics like mobile phones, touch screens, and keyboards. Researchers at the university have developed the low-cost nanogenerator from a silicon wafer that they fabricated with several thin sheets of environmentally friendly substances. Those include silver, polyimide, and polypropylene ferroelectret — the last of which lends itself to the device’s name: a biocompatible ferroelectret nanogenerator, or FENG.”

Okay so, now you can see how easy all this really is, and that our current and latest technology make it possible to have such tech tools that can integrate into our evolutionarily pre-dispositioned needs. Instead of allowing your smart phone to rule your life, use it to better your life, isn’t that what the technology is supposed to do for us. It’s time you ditch those extra pounds and save some medical costs. Think on this.
